Storyline
The criminal anarchy is hilarious when a foursome of full-time hit men looking to score extra cash kidnap the boss' goddaughter. And when deleaguered wise guy Mel is set to take the fall, underworld antics and domestic adsurdities collide for a working weekend no one will soon forget.

The Big Hit is an action comedy that has helpings of both. Action scenes include, a hit on some guy, a shoot out, car chase, another car chase and the obligatory end fight sequence. The action overall is decent with some cool stuff. The best part about the movie is the comedy. I know this site is about the action, but the movie couldn't work without the comedy.

Two funny scenes involve guys who are already dead. Also Lou Diamond Phillips plays Cisco, a trash talking hit man who practically steals the show. Other notable comedic elements are the Trace Buster Buster, Taste the Golden Spray, Elliot Gould puking and the list goes on.

The rating reflects the movies' content of action as well as comedy.
